2026 Bus Trips
Bus Trip General Information:
- Disclaimer: While Dover Township, in partnership with Premiere #1 (bus company), makes every effort to provide on-time service, we can not guarantee departure and/or arrival times, which may be delayed by any number of factors, including weather, traffic or road conditions, mechanical problems or any other cause or condition beyond our control.
- All 2026 single day bus trips depart from the Dover Township Building located at 2480 W. Canal Rd.
- Prices listed do not include a tip for the driver. Your host will collect this tip on the return trip.
- Checks should be made payable to Dover Township.
- Transportation provided on coach bus with restroom.
- Price listed is for transportation only, unless otherwise noted.
- Our trips do not have planned stops along the way. Please plan accordingly.
- Children are welcome on our trips, but they must purchase a seat.
- No alcohol can be consumed on the bus.
- No smoking is allowed on the bus.
- Guests may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages on board - as long as their items can fit in the overhead compartment. You will not have access to the bus during the day.
- Persons violating the smoking and/or alcohol rules will not be permitted on future bus trips.
- Refunds: Please note that refunds on cancelled seat(s) will not be issued unless a written cancellation is received at least one (1) month prior to the trip and only if the cancelled seat(s) are filled by another party.
New York City
- Do NYC 'your way'! Catch a matinee, explore the many museums, enjoy banana pudding at Magnolia Bakery (serious yum!!), try a different type of food (go for a bubble tea in Ktown), and don't forget the shopping.
- This is an "on your own" trip.
- The bus will drop off at Bryant Park - right in the heart of everything!
- The kids will love the Nintendo Store, Lego Store, and American Girl.
- NOTE: NYC is a busy city and confusion can occur at drop off and pick up. If you are not at the pick up place on time and miss the bus you are responsible for getting home on your own at your own expense. Delays may occur due to things that are out of our control. Please be prepared for all and every situation.

- Historic town located at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers
- Famous for John Brown's 1859 raid on the federal armory
- Harpers Ferry lies in the Blue Ridge Mountains where West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland meet

- Ticket price includes entry to Fonthill Castle and a guided tour
- Built between 1908-1912, Fonthill Castle was home to Henry Chapman Mercer
- The castle is an historic site
- Please wear comfortable shoes
- The castle has steep stairs and narrow, uneven passages throughout the site
- This trip may not be suitable for people with limited mobility, issues with stairs, those who can't stand for long periods of time, or those with concerns about small spaces/claustrophobia
- This trip may not be suitable for children under the age of 5.
