Changes for 2026:
- We have switched back to a traditional egg hunt without the extras
- We will still have the trains in the Carousel
- Egg hunts are limited to Dover residents (and their guests)
- Egg hunts are FREE!
- Pre-registration is still required due to limited space
Registration begins on February 2nd for Dover Residents (and their guests) and will CLOSE at midnight on March 26th.
NO ON SITE SALES!
General Info:
- Egg Hunt is be held at BROOKSIDE PARK (4054 Fox Run Rd.).
- Pre-Registration is required. There will be NO ON SITE SALES!

Easter Egg Hunts (kids/dogs):
- You must CHECK IN at Building #3 prior to your egg hunt (ARRIVE EARLY!)
- Wristbands will be given to registered participants.
- Wristbands will be checked at egg hunt area.
- NO ADULTS allowed to assist children
- 0-2 and 3-5 age group may have one adult assist the child.
- Follow the rules and we will all have fun!
Schedule:
- Noon: Sensory Friendly
- 1pm: Ages 0-2
- ONE adult may assist, if needed
- 1:30pm: Ages 3-5
- ONE adult may assist, if needed
- 2pm: Ages 6-9
- 2:30pm: Dogs (must be on leash)
- Please bring well-behaved pets. Please do not bring dogs who may be food aggressive. No flexi-leads (retractable leashes) or dogs in heat. Be prepared to clean up after your pet.
- 8:30pm: Ages 10-18 - meet at fire pit
- Park will be divided into two areas - 10-14 and high school
- Eggs will be hidden IN the woods, so be prepared! Long pants/long sleeved shirts and boots suggested.
- There will be eggs hidden all over the park, trails, woods, creek, buildings, etc. We opened a new trail with new hiding spots!
- NO HELP FROM ADULTS ALLOWED!!!! Any non-registered people found helping will be disqualified and eggs will be confiscated. No refunds will be given.
General Information
- Children under 10 are NOT allowed to hunt eggs at the Flashlight Egg Hunt. (The big kids don't get enough stuff just for them)
- Please be sure to bring your own basket to collect eggs
- We will be collecting the empty eggs at the conclusion of the hunt
- Find a special ticket in your egg? Collect your prize. Prizes MUST be collected on day of the event.
